Shibari artist, educator, and performer, and the founder of Voudou Ropes, a brand devoted to making rope art accessible, expressive, and deeply connective.
Originally from Russia and now based in Mexico, I began my Shibari journey in 2017. Since then, I’ve studied, performed, and taught across Europe, Latin America, and Japan. My practice has been shaped by a wide range of cultural influences, including extensive time spent studying and working in Japan, where I found deep inspiration in the traditional forms and the meditative presence of rope.
My style blends classical Japanese technique with a modern, intuitive, and artistic approach. I don’t choreograph my sessions, I let them unfold from presence. Breath, movement, and emotion guide my hands. For me, rope is a medium for intimacy, storytelling, ritual, and transformation.
Over time, my work has come to explore many dimensions of Shibari: sensual partner play, meditative self-tying, decorative and aesthetic expression, emotional storytelling, and somatic exploration of the body through tension and release. I’m especially drawn to how rope reveals the unseen - how it allows us to soften, feel, and reconnect with ourselves and each other.
I don’t just teach how to tie - I invite you to ask why you tie. I see rope as a mirror. A return to the body. A language of safety, sensation, and self-expression.
Through my retreats, workshops, private sessions, and online courses, I’ve guided hundreds of students - from complete beginners to advanced riggers - in discovering their own relationship with Shibari.
My teaching emphasizes creativity, confidence, consent, and care. Whether I’m leading a retreat in a jungle villa, performing live, or filming a tutorial, my goal is always to create a space where people feel both held and free.
Shibari, to me, is not just a skill. It’s a living art - a celebration of vulnerability, trust, sensuality, and presence.
It’s a way to love more deeply… with rope as the bridge.
